I am an avid celebrator, proponent, and honorer of Sunday Funday.

For so long, I lived a life full of Sunday Scaries. But since reclaiming Sundays as my own, Sunday has become a day I actually look forward to.

While traditional Sunday Funday festivities involve copious amounts of alcohol (here's looking at you, mimosas),  today I'm sharing 7 alcohol-free Sunday Funday ideas for you to give a try.

Read.

Recently, I've started dedicating a little bit of time on Sundays (no more than 30 minutes) to reading on Sundays. This habit has quickly become one of my favorite times of the week.

And hey! If nothing in your personal home library piques your fancy, why not head to your nearest book store to get yourself something new?

Which actually provides a wonderful segue into my next idea...

Go shopping.

Whether you visit to a single store, browse the mall, or take your shopping virtual (*cough* Amazon), spending some time on Sundays shopping is a great way to gear up for the week ahead.

Go for a hike.

Over the past couple months, I've started going on Sunday morning hikes pretty regularly. And dang!  Talk about a great way to kick off a Sunday.

Lay by the pool.

This definitely isn't a year round option, but a Sunday spent laying by the pool is never a wasted Sunday. You can even combine this one with idea numero uno (reading!), like I did yesterday.

Indulge in hobbies.

When else do you have a surplus of time to do things you actually enjoy?

I'm going to guess never.

Sunday Fundays, however, make excellent days to indulge in those long-last hobbies of yours.

But what if you don't any hobbies? Well. A Booze-Free Sunday Funday makes an excellent day to go find one.

Try something new.

I've started playing tennis on Sundays - and tennis has really never been a hobby of mine.

However, I've been trying to pick up new hobbies and activities. And tennis is one I'm glad to now have!

Make or eat your favorite meal.

Josh and I have gotten into the practice of eating pizza every Sunday.

As someone who eats clean 95% of the time (honestly, other than my weekly Mexican food, I eat healthy almost 100% of the time), I look forward to my Sunday pizza every week.

Honestly, the anticipation truly begins around Wednesday.

Adding a favorite meal to a Sunday Funday just makes the day that much better.

Sure, mimosa-filled Sunday Fundays are a blast. I will never deny that. But sometimes branching out, mixing it up, and celebrating Sunday Funday without mimosas is a refreshing change.

So now I'm wondering: What's your favorite way to celebrate and honor Sunday Funday? Let me know in the comments!
