This post is all about 9 indoor activities for 30-somethings you can do at home.

With winter weather incoming, you'll likely start spending more and more time indoors. I mean, who wants to spend time outside when it's 28°!?

But I get it. Being cooped up inside for months on end can become extremely boring. Especially if you've got nothing to do.

This slowed-down way of life is definitely nice at first. But after a while, you'll probably want to find some ways to pass the time and entertain yourself.

So what exactly is there to do when you're cooped up at home and looking for some fun?

Well, friend, I've got you covered. In this post, you'll find 9 fun indoor activities you can do right from the comfort of your home that'll help you pass time enjoyably.

This post is about 9 indoor activities for 30-somethings to do at home.

Binge-watch some television.

Binge-watching television is a popular (albeit cliché) choice when it comes to indoor activities at home, but it's a classic for a reason.

Binge-watching requires virtually zero preparation on your part. Simply find your favorite spot on the couch, grab a blanket, and find the remote.

Boom. Done.

But you don't only have to binge on shows. Binge on movies, too! Days at home are some of my favorites for movie marathons.

Pick a series, pick a genre, pick a bunch of random films for all I care. But spend a day (or two or five!) movie marathon-ing. You'll be glad did.

Read the book that's likely been sitting on your coffee table for months.

Are you also guilty of leaving new books sitting around, untouched, for months on end?

If so, actually picking up and reading these untouched books make a great indoor activity.

To really set the mood: play some music, light a candle, dim the lights a little bit.

Decorate (or redecorate!) your space.

If you're looking for a fun indoor activity, decorating your space is always an enjoyable way to pass some time.

Giving a makeover to the four walls you're spending a lot of time staring at is an easy way to make your space feel less stale.

I'd recommend shaking up your decorations seasonally. This keeps your space feeling fun and festive (for whatever holiday is right around the corner!).

Rearrange your furniture.

Another home improvement option here.

Similar to redecorating your space, but to a greater extreme, changing up the layout of a room can really make a space feel brand new. Especially if you're spending a lot of time in one specific room, give it a refresh and move some things around!

Seriously, it'll feel like a whole new space for a while afterward.

Paint something (wine: optional!).

Even if you aren't a painter extraordinaire, painting can still be a fun indoor activity.

You can choose to follow YouTube tutorials or freestyle it completely.

If you're a fellow wine-o, have a couple glasses while painting. You're bound to have a good time!

Assemble a puzzle.

Assembling a puzzle can take a while sometimes, so this is a great activity if you're looking for something longer-lasting.

To make puzzles even more fun: you can create custom puzzles on websites like Shutterfly! With custom puzzles, you can then frame and display them in your home when you finish.

This makes for a really fun and unique piece of artwork to display.

Play video games.

Leaving the real world and entering a digital one for a couple hours or so is a fun way to spend your downtime.

A couple years ago, we bought a Nintendo Switch. And this little gadget has helped us pass so much freaking time indoors. It's not even funny.

If you're not a console gamer, you can also play video games on your computer. Or even on your cell phone.

Whatever your preferred method of gaming, you're bound to have some fun!

Online shop.

If you're in the urge to spend some money, but not in the mood to leave your house, this one's for you.

Online shopping provides a great way to pass some time - while you shop 'til you drop - all from the comfort of your couch.

Clothes, home essentials, decor, that new air fryer you've been eyeing. Everything's (literally) at your finger tips.

Just head on over to your preferred online retailer's website and get that credit card ready. But be careful not to overspend!

Start a blog.

Sure, this one's a little niche, and I'm definitely a little biased. But having a blog is an excellent indoor activity to pass time.

You've got talents and interests, after all. You ought to share them with the world wide web!

So now, my fellow 30-somethings, I'm wondering: What are your favorite indoor activities you can do at home? Let me know in the comments!
